In the recent years, the rapid advancements in technology and telecommunications, especially the Internet, have led to an explosive growth of Web-based Internet Medical Application.
As in the Medical Industry, LYJA have also implemented numbers of solutions to deliver patient management in the following main areas – Benefit Enrollment, Appointments, Clinical Management and Billing. We proposed an all-in-one web-based medical system that integrates components including all the main areas into one complete package solution. The system is designed by using the framework based on Web Content Component Model (WCCM), which is the suitable model of web application. In addition, the components will be developed using portal technology. A web portal serves as the integrated gateway in a healthcare centre website and provides users (General Practitioners, Nurses, Patients or Clerks) with a single point of access for the medical services. The system supports a centralised control of patients’ data on the server and provides information sharing and distributed data management through the network structure. Users can access the system over local area network or global Internet.
One of our solutions was developed for a major hospital in Southern California. This application facilitates Online Benefit Enrollment for more than a thousand employees in the hospital. This allowed the Employees to enroll online for their medical, dental, life insurance etc. The online application involved coding in asp, html and java script and the database was Microsoft SQL Server. Another LYJA's Appointment Scheduler allows patients to schedule and view their entire appointment calendar online. It provides color coding and appointment blocking features. In addition, it provides patient arrival statusing as well as displays of a patient's appointment history and account balances. Developed Applications for Printing
In the printing industry we have developed customized applications which have revolutionized the process of creation of documents to be printed. We have developed application that will dynamically create kits that can be changed on the fly and once it has been accepted will be sent directly to the printers for printing. This application provides accountability, credibility and flexibility to the whole process. These kits are being developed using dynamic pdf therefore the pdf created in the end can be directly used for printing.
For the printing industry, we have also developed applications that track the UPS shipments on real time basis. These applications provide search capabilities and also provides real time shipment information from the UPS site.
